The Dev Team releases Redsn0w for the jailbreak 0.9.8 b7 of iOS and iOS 4.3.5 5

MuscleNerd has announced a few minutes ago I released a new version of Redsn0w, tool developed by the Dev Team that allows you to tethered jailbreak iOS devices, that in this new version improves compatibility with iOS 5 beta 6 and iOS and iOS 4.3.5 4.2.10.

The Dev Team announced that Apple has changed the firmware IPSW file 5.0 beta 6 for iPad 1 without changing the version number or the name of the file. For this reason, the team of hackers has decided to release Redsn0w 0.9.8 b7 to support both versions of firmware, both the old and the new.

Also in this version was also included specific support for iOS and iOS 4.2.10 4.3.5 (only for CDMA iPhone). Now, in fact, you will no longer need to use the firmware in Redsn0w or 4.3.4 4.2.9 but you can directly select the firmware you want to unblock without problems.

I0n1c publishes a new video of iOS 4.3.1 untethered jailbreak [updated]

I0n1c has just released a new video on his YouTube channel for the iOS 4.3.1 untethered jailbreak that he developed in recent weeks. This is for all intents and purposes a real video in which, however, is not the slightest release date of the tool.

As evidenced by iClarified, I0n1c will not release a tool for untethered jailbreak but will offer to the Dev Team or the Chronic Dev Team the exploit on which to base the operation of a new program for the release of iOS 4.3.1. Probably it will be a package can be installed from Cydia make tethered jailbreak untethered a precedent.
