I0n1c has just released a new video on his YouTube channel for the iOS 4.3.1 untethered jailbreak that he developed in recent weeks. This is for all intents and purposes a real video in which, however, is not the slightest release date of the tool.
As evidenced by iClarified, I0n1c will not release a tool for untethered jailbreak but will offer to the Dev Team or the Chronic Dev Team the exploit on which to base the operation of a new program for the release of iOS 4.3.1. Probably it will be a package can be installed from Cydia make tethered jailbreak untethered a precedent.
The exploit of I0n1c, however, is not supported by the iPad 2. As regards the untethered jailbreak for this device, you will have to wait for Comex, which, apparently, is already well advanced with its new tool that is compatible with the iPad 2.
The hacker has deliberately decided not to publish a release date to avoid generating excessive wait in users. However, should not be very faint in the release of his exploits and then the final jailbreak the new firmware version 4.3.1.
UPDATE: apparently the new exploits of Comex has already been fixed by Apple in iOS 4.3.1 (additional information). It remains then to wait for new information from I0n1c or from Comex.
